Outside the classroom

Beyond the classroom and my work as a doula, I cherish every moment spent embracing the wonders of the world outside. Whether it is digging my hands into the earth, nurturing my garden, or paddling along waters, I find joy in nature's embrace.

Gardening has become a therapeutic escape for me. From the first seeds planted in the spring to the final harvest of autumn, I delight in nurturing my garden and reaping its rewards. The fruits, vegetables, and herbs I harvest become not just ingredients, but a source of inspiration for yummy creations.

On weekends, you'll often find me gliding across the water in my kayak, exploring local lakes and admiring the beauty of the natural world. There is a sense of freedom that comes with kayaking, reminding me of the importance of disconnecting.

When the day winds down, I love to curl up with a thrilling mystery novel. Something is exciting to me about diving into a book full of twists and turns each leaving me on the edge of my seat. I am a fan of tales full of suspense and intrigue.

But amidst all these things, nothing brings me greater joy than spending quality time with my loved ones. Whether it's sharing a home-cooked meal with family, embarking on outdoor adventures with friends, or simply enjoying each other's company, these moments of connection are the true highlights of my life outside of work and study.
